PREGNANCY ANXIETY

Only 6 More Weeks!

A regular checkup with our doctor and things are going well. I ask my wife if she's starting to get nervous and she says no. I'm glad for her, however, with only 6 weeks left till she's due and the fact that the doctors hoping for the baby to come a couple weeks early I'm beginning to feel a little nervous or anxious or both I'm not sure. PREGNANCY DOCTOR VISITS

Follow Up With The Specialist

Our trip to the specialist this time started out by getting lost on the way there. After we made it though we had a very good visit the doctors came in and did a sonogram and explained that everything looked great now and that our baby was now approximately 4lbs 4oz.

PREGNANCY DOCTOR VISITS

Seeing The Specialist Today.

We went to see the specialist today and they simply re-iterated the fact that the babies kidney was dialated. They said everything else was fine but would like to follow up on it in, I believe, 12 weeks, just to make sure. Also my wife is now feeling the baby’s movement now and is still very upbeat. No morning sickness for her to this date.

BEING READY

Looking Forward To The Baby

Today my wife came home and said, "I think I'm now really looking forward to having a baby." Up to this point she has been semi-indifferent to the idea of being pregnant and having a baby.

PREGNANCY DOCTOR VISITS

Its A Boy! "Yes We Wanted To Know :)"

Today we went for our around 20th week ultrasound/follow-up appointment with our doctor. This is the one I've been waiting for... is it going to be a boy or a girl?
Naturally the person doing the ultrasound said that she would go through the whole ultrasound and at "of course" the end tells us the sex of the baby. Filled with anticipation the moment finally arrived where she was determining what it would be. She said I wish it would move its hands out from in front of itself. At this point I said "If its got its hands there its got to be a boy. Sure enough it was!
